BOUTET DE MONVEL Roger, Delfina and Sylvie, very important set of mails, letters, postcards and family documents sent and/or exchanged with family members - between 1910-1960 [Over 300 miscellaneous documents] This set consists mainly of letters sent to Mme Boutet de Monvel during the Occupation, with documentary value. They include ration coupons. Noteworthy are a large number of cancelled envelopes from Latin America and the United States, and various letterheads (Chilean Embassy, various hotels, etc.). Attached is a large batch of letters written and sent by Roger Boutet de Monvel, the artist's brother. This consists of current correspondence dating back to the 1910s, including intimate letters to lovers and his close circle.
